The Bach 42AF is the newest and most exciting development in Bach Stradivarius professional trombones. It features the new "Infinity" axial flow valve. This patented valve design eliminates the metal-to-metal contact found in any other axial flow design through the use of sealed bearings both in the nose and in the back plate. This assures tight tolerances that will resist wear over time. The 8-1/2" one-piece hand-hammered yellow brass Bach 42 bell has defined the symphonic sound for generations. The .547" large bore combined with the patented "Infinity" valve and open wrap F attachment offers a warm sound, great projection, and an efficient and open feel. The chrome plated nickel silver inner handslide tubes provide the ideal surface for smooth and quick handslide action. The clear lacquer finish adds a subtle warmth to the sound overall. The Bach Stradivarius 42AF professional trombone is ideal for both symphonic and solo performance.

The T350-HB tenor trombone is a no-holds-barred, top-of-the line Axial Flow Valve system. We and many of our customers have play-tested this new model in Elkhorn over the past year. We also enlisted the help of Toby Oft of the Boston Symphony to put it through its paces. We feel the results are striking and are confident that this horn is ready for your consumption.
This horn is based on the T350, but with some important differences. In addition to the patented Harmonic Bridge, hard density cross braces improve the the response of horn. The rose neckpipe counters that harder density to achieve a perfectly-balanced tenor trombone.
While developing the T396-A, we tested the patented Harmonic Bridge on our T350. We found that it worked extremely well with the Thayer valve, but unfortunately, production demands prevented us from adding it to more that one model at the time. After working hard to meet our ever-growing demand, the T350-HB is ready to give tenor trombonists the acoustical tuning that was previously only available on the T396-A.
The T350-HB is available with 8" or 8½" bell flares in a variety of wall thicknesses and tempers with either soldered or unsoldered rims. In addition, you may choose from yellow, rose, or red brass with a clear lacquer finish.
Single and dual bore slides in standard weight and lightweight configurations include three brass leadpipes. Custom leadpipe options are also available in silver and brass.
Finally, changing tuning slide material and design can have a profound effect on instruments. Edwards has many tuning slide options available on request.
This system will work with any T350 or T350-E tenor trombone. For those of you whose horns have a bell tab, the tab will either need to be removed or filed down. The bell tab and screw are no longer needed with the Harmonic Bridge.
Edwards - Trombone Tenor T396-A Joseph Alessi Model

When Joseph Alessi is not playing in the back row of Lincoln Center, he can be found performing solos in front of orchestras and in recitals. His music versatility requires an instrument that will meet his needs. The T396-A meets those needs, and then some.
First and foremost, Mr. Alessi is a principal orchestral player. His instrument must crown the low brass section while blending with the orchestra. This balance was of the utmost importance when designing his signature trombone. But we also could not ignore Mr. Alessi's considerable solo capabilities.
So we set out to provide Mr. Alessi with a horn that gave him the correct timbre and feel no matter the musical setting. This is more difficult than it sounds. A lot of timbre comes with having an instrument that is tonally flexible without becoming unstable in different registers. We feel we achieved our goals due to the fact that the T396-A is the first "acoustically-tunable" fixed instrument. We are excited to make an instrument available that is as unique as each and every one of our customers.
